AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U
AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U to procesor dla cienkich i lekkich laptopów oparty na generacji Cezanne. R5 5650U integruje sześć z ośmiu rdzeni opartych na mikroarchitekturze Zen 3 i jest trzecim najszybszym procesorem z serii U w momencie premiery. Rdzenie taktowane są zegarem od 2,3 (gwarantowany zegar bazowy) do 4,2 GHz (Turbo) i obsługują SMT / Hyperthreading (12 wątków). Układ jest produkowany w nowoczesnym procesie technologicznym 7 nm w TSMC.
Procesory PRO oferują dodatkowe funkcje zarządzania i bezpieczeństwa. 5650U jest poza tym identyczny z Ryzen 5 5600U .
Nowa mikroarchitektura Zen 3 oferuje znacznie wyższe IPC (instrukcje na zegar) w porównaniu do Zen 2. W przypadku procesorów do komputerów stacjonarnych AMD twierdzi, że średnio o 19%, a w recenzjach aplikacji wykazano około 12% wzrost przy tej samej prędkości zegara.
Dzięki zwiększonemu taktowaniu i poprawie IPC dzięki Zen 3, Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U powinien być wyraźnie szybszy niż taktowany o 200 MHz niżej procesor Ryzen 5 4500U .
Oprócz sześciu rdzeni CPU, APU integruje również zintegrowaną kartę graficzną Radeon RX Vega 7 z 7 jednostkami CU i taktowaniem do 1800 MHz. Dwukanałowy kontroler pamięci obsługuje pamięci RAM DDR4-3200 i energooszczędne LPDDR4-4266. Ponadto na układzie znajdziemy 12 MB pamięci podręcznej trzeciego poziomu (wzrost z 8 MB w 4800U).
TDP APU zostało określone na 15 W (domyślnie) i może być skonfigurowane od 10 do 25 W przez sprzedawcę laptopa (większość układów jest skonfigurowana powyżej 15 W). Oznacza to, że układ jest przeznaczony do cienkich i lekkich laptopów (ale z wentylatorami).
