HMD Fusion na start kosztował 1499 zł, ale są już sklepy gdzie cena telefonu spadła do około 1300 złotych. Do 15 stycznia dodatkowe etui Flashy Outfit powinniśmy dostać za darmo. Niestety w tej cenie smartfon nie potrafi się obronić. Najsłabszym elementem jest wyświetlacz, który bardzo mocno odstaje od dzisiejszych standardów w każdym z parametrów. Dziś można kupić smartfon za mniej niż tysiąc złotych, który będzie miał ekran pod każdym względem lepszy od HMD. Przeciętna wydajność oraz pojedynczy aparat bez stabilizacji też są poniżej oczekiwań. Nie sądzę, aby klienci byli gotowi dopłacić 40% ceny telefonu, tylko dlatego, że będą mogli sami go naprawić albo dodać etui ze światłem. Sama koncepcja modularności mi się podoba. Doceniam również, że producent udostępnia API i pliki CAD, aby samemu móc stworzyć własne akcesoria.

After using the HMD Fusion, it's not too hard to conclude that it follows the typical HMD philosophy of delivering the basics. The phone is a proper design exercise and, for the first time, brings the goodness of modular smartphones into a budget package. The last time I experienced something similar was on Motorola's Z series, which spanned the mid-range to the premium segment. Nothing's CMF Phone 1 (Review) also retails at this price point and takes a modular approach to a smartphone, but all of its beautifully designed accessories are functional, not smart.
