Miejsce głównych aparatów zajął główny 50-megapikselowy sensor z hybrydową stabilizacją i prosty 8-megapikselowy obiektyw szerokokątny. O ile moduł pomocniczy raczej nie spotka się z komplementami, o tyle aparat 50 MP bez problemu radzi sobie zarówno z ujęciami dziennymi, jak i wieczornymi. Nawet podczas fotografowania w nocy łatwo jest uzyskać zdjęcia charakteryzujące się przyzwoitymi szczegółami i pozbawione nadmiernych szumów. Jest dźwięk stereo, ale jego głośność jest niska, a głośniki nie działają całkiem równomiernie. Ale lista zalet się wydłuża za sprawą płatności zbliżeniowych NFC, żyroskopu i 60-megapikselowego aparatu do selfie. W rezultacie mamy urządzenie niedoskonałe, ale ciekawe i wyważone jak na swoją cenę, które zasługuje na zakup.

The Huawei Nova 12 brings together a good set of features and specs in the mid-range price segment. It has an attractive design, a sturdy build, an amazing camera, 5G connectivity, and many other things. But, at the same time, the Nova 12 series phone is currently exclusive to the Chinese smartphone market, and it’s not confirmed when the company will unveil it to the global market. But, the core downside of purchasing this phone would be average gameplay performance. The phone lacks when it comes to the cooling system and GPU support. Although the device attains the GPU turbo booster, it lacks when it comes to real-time performance. However, you won’t face any major issues with the camera department as the photos and video quality are good. Yet, there’s no doubt that the phone lacks proper video stabilization support.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a competent entry-level phone with a spec sheet that checks most of the boxes: big battery paired with fast charging, a decent camera, and a smooth, large display. But just like those flashy megapixels, some cracks start to show. The lack of Google Play Services and the dated Android 12 base might be significant hurdles, forcing users to jump through hoops for essential apps. The 108MP camera may sound impressive on paper, but real-world performance falls a bit short. While photos are decent for casual social media use, video capture leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re a die-hard Huawei fan or simply crave a phone with a massive megapixel count for bragging rights, the nova 12i might be worth considering. But for most users, there are better options out there that offer a more balanced package for the same price.

The Huawei Nova 12 SE is a smartphone that is designed to impress people and it surely does with beautiful craftsmanship and design. You could even say it’s an 8/10 in terms of pure looks, but we can’t say the same about the internals. It has a decently good display but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. Other smartphones in the same price range provide a much higher refresh rate. The same goes for the chipset, battery, and charging capabilities, which are far better in other smartphones. That’s not to say that the ones in this smartphone are bad, it’s just that the competition is a lot better and has better prices. The only main selling points of this smartphone are its design and camera and they are good. For all that it provides, is the pricing of this smartphone justified? No, but if you can find the smartphone at a discount, then it could be worth it.
