Mediatek Dimensity 8020

MediaTek Dimensity 8020 to oparty na architekturze ARM system-on-a-Chip (SoC), podobny do starszego modelu Dimensity 1100. Został on zaprojektowany specjalnie do użytku w smartfonach Android i należy do kategorii średniej pod względem wydajności. Obsługuje wszystkie obecne standardy sieci komórkowych, w tym 5G z 2CC-CA (200 MHz) i FDD + TDD.

Procesor składa się z ośmiu rdzeni podzielonych na dwa klastry. Jeden klaster ma cztery wydajne rdzenie ARM Cortex-A78 o prędkości do 2,6 GHz, podczas gdy drugi klaster ma cztery energooszczędne rdzenie ARM Cortex-A55 o prędkości do 2,0 GHz. Pamięć RAM LPDDR4 może być używana jako pamięć i obsługuje UFS 3.1 jako pamięć wewnętrzną.

Jeśli chodzi o łączność, oferuje obsługę Dual-5G, a także Wi-Fi 6 i Bluetooth 5.2.

Zintegrowana jednostka graficzna, ARM Mali-G77 MC9może zasilać wyświetlacze o rozdzielczości do 2560 x 1080 i częstotliwości odświeżania do 144 Hz (prawdopodobnie tylko dla Full HD+).

Układ jest produkowany przez TSMC przy użyciu obecnego procesu 6 nm w segmencie średniej klasy.
