NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 to karta graficzna klasy średniej do komputerów stacjonarnych. Bazuje na układzie Ampere GA106 i oferuje 8 GB pamięci graficznej GDDR6 ze 128-bitową szyną pamięci. Oferuje 2560 rdzeni i obsługuje PCIe 4.0.
Wydajność jest zbliżona do starszego modelu GeForce RTX 2060, a więc najlepiej nadaje się do rozgrywki w 1080p w nowoczesnych i wymagających grach w wysokich ustawieniach.
Układ GA106 oferuje 3 840 jednostek FP32 ALU, z czego połowa może wykonywać także instrukcje INT32 (czyli 1 920 INT32 ALU). Dzięki Turingowi wszystkie shadery mogłyby nadal wykonywać instrukcje FP32 lub INT32. Według Nvidii ulepszono także rdzenie raytracingowe i tensorowe na chipie. Układy Ampere zawierają także ulepszony koder wideo piątej generacji (NVENC dla H.264 i H.265) oraz dekoder siódmej generacji (dla różnych formatów teraz także AV1).
Układ GA106 jest produkowany przez Samsunga w technologii 8nm (8N), która nie do końca jest w stanie dotrzymać kroku węzłowi 7nm w TSMC (np. wykorzystywanemu przez AMD, a także w profesjonalnym układzie GA100 Ampere). TDP modelu RTX 3050 określono na 130 W, a więc lepiej niż w przypadku poprzedniego RTX 2060 (160 W).
