Zaskakiwanie wyrafinowanej publiczności rynku smartfonów jest coraz trudniejsze. Sytuacja jest szczególnie trudna w przypadku telefonów z najwyższej kategorii cenowej. Producenci muszą albo tworzyć innowacyjne urządzenia o zaawansowanej funkcjonalności, albo produkować urządzenia o szalonym stosunku ceny do wydajności. I wydaje się, że bohater dzisiejszej recenzji pasuje do tego drugiego opisu. Nie sposób nie pochwalić projektantów Oppo. W przeciwieństwie do decyzji przeciwników, potrójny blok aparatu, atrakcyjny i wygodny kształt szklanego korpusu z metalowymi obramowaniami, ledwo zauważalne ramki wyświetlacza AMOLED z wbudowanym czytnikiem linii papilarnych pozostawiają pozytywne emocje z zewnątrz przemyślane do najmniejszych Szczegół.

The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G is a good phone that’s also a little strange. It excels in raw power, imaging quality, and battery life. But, has no water resistance assurances, wireless charging, or decent external speakers, all penalising what it could have truly been --- especially for the price it commands. It also has a strange display resolution that’s neither helping nor hurting its value proposition. In a way, it’s like an Oppo-branded “budget flagship” or "flagship-lite" device where the brand eschews what it thinks are non-essential components in favour of a price tag lower than its Find X series (typically prices above S$1.5k). Oppo isn’t wrong, since most people care about the phone’s operating system, the ability to shoot pretty pictures, and deliver on performance where it counts.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ provides everything they claimed and then some more. They claimed to provide a flagship camera experience. The photos are sharp with rich colors and Even when you zoom in, the details are preserved preciously. This excellency is taken over to the design, display, processing, and even the battery, which provides a full day of battery backup. The smartphone doesn’t underperform in any department of minor issues such as the absence of an AMOLED panel, the latest Snapdragon SoC, 8K recording support, wireless charging, water-resistant coating, and a stock user experience in the premium segment make us think twice when alternatives in the same segment arrive with all these set of features. No doubt, the smartphone satisfies the user’s needs while every one of us expects the wanted device to justify the amount.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ ticks all the right boxes. It looks good, feels premium, delivers a performance that would be enough for most, and the cameras are good too especially the telephoto one. Although all is not well, there are some letdowns as well – there is no official IP rating, and the bloat situation, these two do not look good on the phone costing half a lakh. Nevertheless, you can consider it for Rs 54,999, if you want a premium phone, and cameras are your priority.

The Reno series has always been relegated to the premium mid-range segment and the Reno10 Pro+ embodies that promise. In many aspects, it looks, feels and performs like a proper flagship device. Premium design and build, excellent performance, generous memory and storage options, fast charging and flagship level camera system. There might be a few missing items in our checklist — water resistance (ingress protection) or wireless charging. Everything else seemed spot on for its category. However, with a matching price tag of Php39,990, it might be a bit of an ask considering that the 6-month old OnePlus 11 5G (now at Php43k for the 8GB+128GB) is well within the vicinity in terms of specs and price. For Globe postpaid subscribers, you can get the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G on GPlan 2499 with a Php7,000 cash out. It’s also available at 0% installment plans on Home Credit and all credit cards.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ is about R2k more expensive than its predecessor at R21 999 (depending on the retailer). Do you get more value or performance on the Reno10 Pro+? The short answer is yes, with better specs across the board, but that is to be expected of a new iteration. The problem that the Reno10 Pro+ finds itself with is that at R21 999, it is in the same price bracket as the Samsung Galaxy S23. While that phone was launched earlier in the year, this new device is still not on par with its specifications or performance. As such, while OPPO’s new flagship phone is a great all-around performer, there are still better options in the same price bracket. If this phone was coming in closer to the R19k or even R18k price point, perhaps it would be a savvier pick up. For now though, it finds itself up against a fairly well stacked Android flagship market.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G is a well-rounded phone that has everything you need: solid-performing cameras, flagship-level performance, and a battery that lasts all day. Probably the only thing that most people won’t like is its price: it has a sticker price of Php 39,999. That comes pretty close to the SRP of another BKK product, the OnePlus 11, which is another excellent phone in its own right. That being said, the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ 5G feels like a flagship phone, and with OPPO still not offering the Find X6 in the Philippines, the Reno10 Pro+ 5G is the closest you’ll come to getting a taste of the brand’s flagship chops.

It's clear that Singapore phone users can be quite spoilt for choice if their smartphone buying budget and options are wide. But, the S$1,149 Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G does bring something fresh for people who really want a powerful phone, good cameras and not wanting to go with the usual Samsung route for a top-end Android phone. Between this and other midrange options (where the rest of the Reno series sit), it's a really tough call. You can't go wrong with either option, since it depends on what you prioritise. Price-sensitive folks would look to a Pixel 7a, while those who need a larger screen and still value a clean UI and security might consider paying more for the Pixel 7 Pro. The Reno10+ Pro 5G, in turn, offers a fresh perspective through its photography chops, seated just in between these two phone tiers and offers better performance, and storage capacity.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is a good ultra-premium phone from the company. It offers fast performance with a good content viewing screen. It can deliver solid battery life with light usage and the bundled 100W charger takes just around 15 mins to top up half the battery. The telephoto camera and primary rear camera are also very much capable of delivering good shots in daylight. However, the price of Rs 54,999 sounds too high, considering its immediate rival Pixel 7 is also available at a lower price. It also misses out on a few features like wireless charging, IP rating and more. Overall, if you are looking for a good camera-focused Oppo phone, I would recommend you buy the Reno 10 Pro+ during the sale events that take place every now or then on e-commerce platforms like Flipkart because it will be available at a discounted price.

Do I like the Reno10 Pro+? Most certainly. It has basically everything going for it all the way from its display to its battery. In the middle, you also find a capable camera setup and of course, performance levels that are not going to disappoint anyone. Bloatware issues aside, the Reno10 Pro+ is as much of a flagship offering as any other device in the market currently. Unfortunately, the Rs 54,999 pricing can come as a hard sell considering equally good offerings in the form of the Moto Edge 30 Ultra, selling at a slightly lower cost. There’s also the OnePlus 11 and iQOO 11, for the ultimate performance in the market right now. However, considering the Reno10 Pro+ as an overall package of smartphone utility, it gets my nod as a worthy option under Rs 60,000.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G definitely meets our expectations and is a noticeable leap over the Reno 8 Pro 5G, which felt more like a mid-range smartphone in terms of its camera and raw performance. Despite the slightly dated processor, the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G still manages to deliver good performance and also comes with capable camera hardware. However, as mentioned earlier in this review, there's the OnePlus 11 5G (Review) which offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, along with a bigger 5,000mAh battery. It also has a superior ultra-wide angle camera with a higher resolution sensor. There's also the iQoo 11 5G (Review) which packs hardware that's similar to the OnePlus 11, and although it lacks the rather flexible camera of the 11 5G and the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G, it does gets 120W wired fast charging, which is pretty much unmatched in this segment (and beyond).

The Reno10 Pro Plus is an impressive smartphone with notable features, particularly in the imaging and charging departments. While it lacks an official ingress protection rating for water-and-dust resistance, its thin-and-lightweight design compensates for this. The superfast wired charging capability is a significant advantage, even though wireless charging is not supported. Priced at Rs 54,999, the Reno10 Pro Plus offers a premium smartphone experience without compromising on core features. It delivers a well-rounded experience across various aspects, which is quite surprising considering its competitive price point.

OPPO made some tall claims with the OPPO Reno10 Pro+; the loftiest of which is being the “Portrait Expert”. I think they’ve actually nailed it to some extent. The telephoto periscope lens on the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ clicks some of the most stunning portraits I’ve ever seen. Especially at under ₹60K. The natural bokeh and crisp details make for some social-media-worthy shots, however, the camera system is not perfect. The portrait lens could use some tuning when it comes to skin tone colour and edge detection. Similarly, the primary lens could use some work on dynamic range; and the ultrawide camera needs a complete overhaul. However, it is a valiant attempt from the company. OPPO has truly managed to deliver a competitive portrait experience for a fraction of the price of competing flagship phones.

With all points discussed, now you know that OPPO is quite serious about shaping the Reno series into a portrait-focused class of smartphones that benefits users of both professional and casual via a carefully curated set of camera lenses and associated software that produces amazing images and footage. Further complimented by a set of powerful hardware, one may enjoy the feeling of a flagship smartphone without shelling out as much. Speaking of shelling out money, if you need more reasons to get hold of one of the new Reno10 series devices, here’s what you need to know.

The OPPO Reno10 Pro Plus is an amazing device that is practically a flagship despite its slightly outdated chipset. Its camera performance can make just about anyone a decent photographer and the battery life is more than adequate. Even its design is both stylish and pragmatic. My only gripe with the phone is that, as you can see from the examples above, the pricing puts it in the same arena as some of this year’s premium smartphones with newer and more powerful processors. Of course, if you’re not much of a power user and are more interested in good imaging for a lower price, then the Reno is a great choice.

So, after going through all that – I just want to say one thing. This phone is very, very similar to the OnePlus Nord 3 5G that we reviewed yesterday. You can check it out here. I think both these phones share a lot of similarities including the IR blaster, but the biggest difference is the chipset. One is using the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, and another is using the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Both these phones are created with the same idea in mind – bringing some of the flagship experience from last year and repackaged it as a mid-range smartphone. I like this approach a lot, but I’m not sure about the price, honestly. At RM3,499 – I can only say yeowzers.

As the tenth-generation milestone of the OPPO Reno series, Reno 10 Pro+ firmly cultivates the three major tracks of portrait, color, and thinness. The 8.28mm-thick body is stuffed with a large bottom periscope telephoto, and the series uses a suspended prism for the first time. Anti-shake and SUPERVOOC S power management chip, OPPO delegated its best technology to create a young flagship of the year that pays tribute to the first generation. How to take the most beautiful side of your girlfriend? OPPO Reno10 Pro+ review: Telephoto portraits allow straight men to take pictures The minimalist concept of “Window of Vision” was introduced into the Reno10 series for the first time, showing the unique glass and metal splicing texture of the tenth-generation Reno mobile phone. Innovation realizes the dual expression of vision and touch.

Oprócz rdzeni procesora, SoC integruje modem WiFi 6e, Hexagon DSP (do akceleracji AI) i Spectra ISP. Zintegrowany kontroler pamięci obsługuje szybką pamięć LPDDR5 o częstotliwości do 3200 MHz. 5G jest teraz zawarte w chipie z modemem Snapdragon X65. W porównaniu do wersji bez plusa, 8+ Gen 1 oferuje o 200 MHz wyższe taktowanie Prime Core i o 10% wyższe taktowanie GPU. Co więcej, jest on teraz produkowany w TSMC, a nie w Samsungu.
