Wersja Pro nabyła 50-megapikselowy teleobiektyw z OIS i trzykrotnym zoomem optycznym, dzięki czemu fotografowanie odległych obiektów stało się znacznie łatwiejsze. Dobrej 8-megapikselowej matrycy fotograficznej nie można poważnie krytykować, a główny 50-megapikselowy sensor Sony z hybrydową stabilizacją nie odbiega od aparatów telefonów komórkowych pod względem szczegółowości kadru. Dźwięk stereo jest obecny, głośność i jednorodność odpowiedzi częstotliwościowej nie budzą wątpliwości. Płatności zbliżeniowe NFC, obsługa sieci 5G, a nawet ochrona przed kurzem i wilgocią zgodnie ze standardami IP68 dodają do listy zalet niemal idealnego urządzenia za swoje pieniądze.

The Oppo Reno 13 Pro 5G offers some improvement over its predecessor, the Reno 12 Pro. You get fresh design aesthetics and a better-built quality over previous Reno series phones. The display is crisp and offers vibrant colours to make the whole streaming experience delightful. The performance has seen a bigger jump over its predecessor and is now in line with the rest of the competition, if not ahead. The cameras were a mixed-bag experience during the testing period. On the one hand, you get well-detailed shots, but the shift in colour temperature between different sensors spoils the whole mood.

So, should you buy the OPPO Reno 13 Pro? I honestly do think that this is a great phone. The cameras are actually good and the telephoto camera is especially great but the auto lens switching is holding it back. It ultimately boils down to the price – which is RM2,499 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version. This is a really high price, honestly. And this price is where – I think – the biggest drawback is. The price is a big hike over the previous generation. However, if you can get it at a good deal, then this is a good phone after all.

Oppo Reno 13 and 13 Pro have received some solid upgrades compared to its predecessor, which makes them a great choice for older Oppo Reno phone owners as well as for users who just want a new phone. The new smartphones provide a satisfactory experience in every aspect. The displays of both phones are quite impressive in terms of picture quality and clarity. The performance is also quite fabulous. It’s not as fast as the flagship chipsets but is faster than most mid-range and high-end chips. The camera performance of the two phones is also quite satisfactory. They won’t come anywhere close to the performance of the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series but they are more than good enough. The battery life and charging speed are even more impressive than anything else on the two phones.
