NucBox K2 to najnowszy mini PC od GMKtec dla środowisk domowych i biurowych. Choć jego nazwa może sugerować, że zastępuje on bezpośrednio model NucBox K1to NucBox K2 należy do własnej kategorii, ponieważ K1 jest skierowany do innego podzbioru użytkowników mini PC.

Nasz egzemplarz testowy został skonfigurowany z procesorem Zen 3+ AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS, zintegrowanym układem graficznym Radeon 680M, dyskiem SSD PCIe3 o pojemności 1 TB i 32 GB pamięci RAM w cenie około 580 USD lub zaledwie 480 USD w przypadku wyprzedaży. Dostępne są również jednostki SKU z połową pamięci RAM i pamięci masowej, a nawet jedna z szybszym Zen 4 Ryzen 9 7940HS za niecałe 800 USD. Obecnie nie ma opcji barebone.

Alternatywy dla NucBox 2 obejmują inne mini komputery PC ze zintegrowaną grafiką, takie jak Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini, Geekom Mini iT13, Trigkey Speed Slub Intel NUC 13 Pro.

Case - Keeping It Simple

NucBox K2 jest zauważalnie lżejszy niż wiele innych mini PC o podobnych rozmiarach, w tym Intel NUC 13 Pro i Geekom Mini IT11. Wadą jest jednak to, że K2 wykorzystuje więcej plastiku na górnej i dolnej powierzchni, podczas gdy tylko boki i krawędzie są metalowe. Jego całkowicie matowa konstrukcja jest zdecydowanie bardziej subtelna niż mini PC, takie jak Beelink SER7 gdzie błyszczący, chromowany wygląd ma przyciągać wzrok. Niemniej jednak sztywność obudowy jest nadal bardzo dobra i nie ma żadnych problemów z jakością wykonania w naszym konkretnym egzemplarzu.

Najbardziej godnym uwagi portem w NucBox 2 jest bez wątpienia port USB 4. Ten wszechstronny port może być używany do zewnętrznych GPU, zewnętrznych wyświetlaczy, stacji dokujących, a nawet zasilaczy AC innych firm, jeśli kiedykolwiek zgubisz opatentowany zasilacz dostarczany z pudełkiem. Niestety, jest tylko jeden port USB-C, w przeciwieństwie do Beelink SER7, który integruje trzy porty USB-C.

Układ MediaTek RZ608 jest standardowo wyposażony w obsługę Wi-Fi 6 i Wi-Fi 6E. Chociaż połączenie jest niezawodne, wydajność jest wolniejsza niż oczekiwano po sparowaniu z naszą siecią 6 GHz, jak pokazano poniżej. Sugeruje to, że anteny bezprzewodowe mogą być słabe.

Bluetooth jest również problematyczny. Nasza mysz Bluetooth nie łączyła się ponownie za każdym razem, mimo że działała doskonale na innych urządzeniach.

NucBox K2 jest jednym z najłatwiejszych w serwisowaniu mini PC, zwłaszcza po niedawnej recenzji Beelink SER7. Plastikowy panel górny zdejmuje się w ciągu kilku sekund bez użycia narzędzi, zapewniając bezpośredni dostęp do 2x slotów SODIMM, 1x M.2 SSD i modułu WLAN. Nawet wentylator systemowy jest łatwo dostępny po odwróceniu urządzenia do góry nogami, zdjęciu czterech gumowych nóżek i odkręceniu czterech śrub.

Warunki testowania

Przed uruchomieniem poniższych testów porównawczych ustawiliśmy system Windows w tryb wydajności. GMK nie zawiera preinstalowanych aplikacji centrum sterowania ani oprogramowania typu bloatware.

Procesor

RyzenRyzen 7 7735HS jest zasadniczo rebrandowanym modelem ostatniej generacji Ryzen 7 6800H zwłaszcza, że oba bazują na architekturze Zen 3+. Nie oznacza to, że procesor jest powolny, ale użytkownicy chcący posiadać najnowszą technologię Zen 4 będą musieli zamiast tego spojrzeć na konfigurację z wyższej półki z modelem Ryzen 9 7940HS który może zaoferować nawet o 45 do 50 procent wyższą wydajność wielowątkową w porównaniu z naszą jednostką Ryzen 7.

Ogólna wydajność jest o około 30 procent wolniejsza niż w przypadku 12. generacji Core i7-12700H powszechnie spotykanego w wysokowydajnych laptopach do gier i mini PC, takich jak Intel NUC 12 Serpent Canyon.
