Możliwości fotograficzne są zbliżone do tych z najlepszych telefonów z aparatem. Główny czujnik technologiczny firmy Omnivision i teleobiektyw z trzykrotnym zoomem optycznym charakteryzują się hybrydową stabilizacją, a obiektyw szerokokątny jest również dobry. Wszystkie moduły mają 50 megapikseli. Złożone scenariusze fotografowania nie będą przeszkodą w tworzeniu bardzo szczegółowych zdjęć bez widocznego szumu i innych artefaktów. Dźwięk stereo jest głośny, bogaty, chociaż jest gorszy od starszego modelu.

Zamiast tego musimy zadowolić się zaledwie 12 GB RAM-u i skromniejszym ogniwem 5270 mAh. Co gorsza, Magic7 Pro jest u nas szalenie nieopłacalny. Aktualna cena to 5799 zł, a zatem to jeden z najdroższych smartfonów na rynku. Ale czy najlepszych? Nie byłbym tego taki pewien. However, if you want a perfect phone, this is not it. Which is a real shame, as I’m a big fan of using telephoto cameras on phones, but I’m left wishing this one was better. I’m hopeful that software updates can fix some of the softness and colour issues I experienced with the telephoto camera on the phone. However, it’s the shiny chrome finish around the camera lens that is a huge issue when you’re taking photos of anything reflective, such as through glass, as these will end up being captured in your photos on bright sunny days, and if you’re using the phone for video work, then you’ll probably want to cover this in a completely black case.

If the predecessor was a wonderful flagship-grade Android smartphone under S$1,500, then the Honor Magic7 Pro repeats that with better AI integration and an updated chipset - a huge leap from before. For the same price (S$1,399) and the same starting storage (512GB), it’s still a steal, especially when more expensive flagship phones start at 256GB at higher prices. While its premium competitors come with better polish, Magic7 Pro doesn’t skimp out on a fantastic experience with a high-quality display panel, stronger audio, and top-tier IP rating protections to match up on hygiene factors. A really good alternative is the OPPO Find X8 Pro (S$1,649, also 512GB), which does everything the Honor Magic7 Pro can do but with better polish, better AI integration, imaging quality, battery life, and a less annoying camera housing design.

To be fair, the Honor Magic7 Pro never got that toasty in games like Genshin Impact, even with the graphics maxed out, and with frame rates set to 60fps. The game was smooth, and looked great on the phone's bright display. However, these settings are quite power-intensive — even the phone's hefty 5,850mAh battery depleted by around 10% in around half an hour. But unless I was gaming for hours, I could easily get a day to 1.5 days of use before having to charge the phone. The good news is that the Honor Magic7 Pro supports 100W wired charging, up from its predecessor's 80W. There's also 80W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, too. At S$1,399 for the base 12GB + 512GB model (and S$1,699 for the 16GB + 1TB version), the Honor Magic7 Pro costs the same as the previous model.

If the predecessor was a wonderful flagship-grade Android smartphone under S$1,500, then the Honor Magic7 Pro repeats that with better AI integration and an updated chipset - a huge leap from before. For the same price (S$1,399) and the same starting storage (512GB), it’s still a steal, especially when more expensive flagship phones start at 256GB at higher prices. While its premium competitors come with better polish, Magic7 Pro doesn’t skimp out on a fantastic experience with a high-quality display panel, stronger audio, and top-tier IP rating protections to match up on hygiene factors. A really good alternative is the OPPO Find X8 Pro (S$1,649, also 512GB), which does everything the Honor Magic7 Pro can do but with better polish, better AI integration, imaging quality, battery life, and a less annoying camera housing design.

To be fair, the Honor Magic7 Pro never got that toasty in games like Genshin Impact, even with the graphics maxed out, and with frame rates set to 60fps. The game was smooth, and looked great on the phone's bright display. However, these settings are quite power-intensive — even the phone's hefty 5,850mAh battery depleted by around 10% in around half an hour. But unless I was gaming for hours, I could easily get a day to 1.5 days of use before having to charge the phone. The good news is that the Honor Magic7 Pro supports 100W wired charging, up from its predecessor's 80W. There's also 80W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, too. At S$1,399 for the base 12GB + 512GB model (and S$1,699 for the 16GB + 1TB version), the Honor Magic7 Pro costs the same as the previous model.

Likewise, the Honor Magic 7 Pro is fantastic for gamers. Wuthering Waves and other intensive titles play with a fluid frame rate, even on higher visual settings. Battery life is good too, even if we get a smaller capacity cell here in the EU and UK.

Unfortunately for HONOR, we’re spoilt for choice for brilliant smartphones right now, and the Magic 7 Pro’s £1,100/€1,300 asking price isn’t going to undercut them. The affordable OnePlus 13 ($899.99 at OnePlus) has smashed it out of the park for the first time in years, OPPO has returned to Western shores with the superb Find X8 Pro (£1099 at Amazon), and there’s the trusty Pixel 9 Pro XL ($949 at Amazon) that hardly puts a foot wrong and is still the leader when it comes to AI tools that are actually helpful. And, of course, the Galaxy S25 series is just around the corner at this time of writing. Any of these phones would be a solid pick for a top-tier flagship phone, and some beat HONOR when it comes to long-term update policy.

The Magic 7 Pro isn’t going toe-to-toe with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra anytime soon and Honor seems to know that. Its decision to keep the price at £1,099 (around £150 cheaper than we expect the S25 Ultra to cost) is a smart one that positions the Magic 7 Pro closer to entry-level flagship territory. However, its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, robust camera suite and AI trickery should mean it’s in a decent position to compete with Samsung’s range-topper. The upcoming OnePlus 13 is set to employ the Snapdragon 8 Elite for a couple of hundred pounds less than the Magic 7 Pro, so the latter’s photography chops will likely make or break its appeal as an alternative to the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. There are a few scenarios where my recommendations for buying the Honor Magic7 Pro are clear. If you're considering it against the OnePlus 13, then unless you're very concerned about pricing, the Honor likely wins out for you. And if you're thinking about the Magic7 Pro against a Pixel 9 Pro XL, then it'll depend on if you want to spend your 1.1 grand on better hardware now with Honor or smarter software down the line with Google. The problem is if you're also weighing up buying a Samsung flagship phone. Honor continues its streak of excellent smartphones with the Honor Magic 7 Pro, offering a comfortably flagship experience in almost every area, including design, durability, screen tech, camera performance and power. With that said, this is what many would consider an iterative upgrade with improved durability, a new processor, a slightly better telephoto camera and, rather awkwardly, a smaller battery than both the Magic 6 Pro and the 2025 flagship competition. Instead, it relies mainly on new AI features to separate itself from its predecessor, and that’s a bit of a risk considering key new additions like Super Zoom AI aren’t all they’re cracked up to be in real-world use. Still, the vast majority of consumers would be more than happy with the hardware and software on offer from the Honor Magic 7 Pro – just maybe not Magic 6 Pro owners.

There's nothing wrong with the hardware either; the phone blazes through demanding games, and while it gets hot during extended gaming sessions, there are no problems with throttling. I didn't have to worry about the battery running out before the end of the day, and while it doesn't last as long as the X200 Pro, it easily manages a day and a bit even with heavy use.

The Magic7 Pro does a lot of things right - to the high standard you'd expect from a top-shelf model - and it also manages to stand out in a couple of ways worth mentioning. At least two of them can be found in the pill-shaped cutout in the display - the selfie camera and the 3D face scanning bits that you can't get on all that many Androids. The unusually loud speakers are also possibly a selling point. Honor's approach to zoomed in photos starts off promisingly with a sizable sensor, but is a bit of letdown in practice because of the added digital magnification. The smaller battery capacity for Europe-bound units is also a questionable development and one that is preventing the Magic7 Pro from achieving its full potential. In the end, the Magic7 Pro isn't bringing us the level of camera excitement we hoped it would (and the level it just should be able to attain with its hardware). It's also not a significant enough update to the otherwise pretty appealing 2024 model.

One thing that I love about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 3D Face Recognition, and it really shows. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick.

The Magic 7 Pro doesn’t leave you wanting for much. It has flagship performance, supermodel good looks, and features you won’t find on many Android rivals, like secure facial recognition. I wish battery life was just a little bit better, and Honor needs to commit to more years of updates if it wants to match Google or Samsung, but you’re otherwise getting an awful lot of phone for your cash. I was blown away by its photographic ability at times, with all three rear lenses really packing in detail and having no trouble capturing moving subjects. I wasn’t so sold on the AI super zoom or how it artificially inserted sun flares, and thought colour consistency between lenses could use some work, but there’s no denying the results can look particularly pleasing.

It’s time for some tough questions—and even tougher answers. The Honor Magic 7 Pro is undoubtedly a great Android flagship. It builds upon the success of the Magic 6 Pro, with improvements in the chipset, telephoto camera, and the addition of even more AI features. It also brings some very interesting eye protection technology to the global audience. The flat screen is a welcome upgrade, as is the symmetrical camera housing. Overall, the design of the Magic series has matured into something recognizable, comfortable, and stylish all at once.

The Magic 7 Pro doesn’t leave you wanting for much. It has flagship performance, supermodel good looks, and features you won’t find on many Android rivals, like secure facial recognition. I wish battery life was just a little bit better, and Honor needs to commit to more years of updates if it wants to match Google or Samsung, but you’re otherwise getting an awful lot of phone for your cash. I was blown away by its photographic ability at times, with all three rear lenses really packing in detail and having no trouble capturing moving subjects. I wasn’t so sold on the AI super zoom or how it artificially inserted sun flares, and thought colour consistency between lenses could use some work, but there’s no denying the results can look particularly pleasing.

Przyznam się Wam, że lubię, gdy mogę z telefonem zrobić trochę więcej niż standardowy test. Smartfony powyżej 1000 zł są już całkiem przyzwoitym sprzętem, a tylko szczegóły sprawiają, że dany model bardziej nam przypadnie do gustu czy mniej. W tym przypadku jeżeli zależy Wam na mocnej baterii, bardziej wytrzymałym smartfonie (pamiętajmy, że jednak nadal nie jest to pancerniak), płynnej pracy w codziennych zadaniach, a mniej na aparacie (chociaż obiektyw główny jest całkiem OK.), to spokojnie możecie spojrzeć w jego kierunku. Wszystko to w cenie ok. 1600 zł. Dzięki Honor za możliwość zrobienia bardziej wymagających testów.

Honor Magic 7 Lite. Generalnie nuda, lecz pod jednym względem ten smartfon jest mocarzem

Honor Magic 7 Lite to bezsprzecznie odświeżony model Magic 6 Lite. Jednak w kilku miejscach specyfikacji owo odświeżenie okazało się bardzo trafne. Smartfon zachował co prawda ten sam, z każdym rokiem coraz bardziej przestarzały chipset, stary system Android 14, prawie bezużyteczny moduł szerokokątny 5 MP i otrzymał podobnej jakości ekran, lecz... zyskał potężny akumulator 6600 mAh z szybszym ładowaniem, dość kiepskie, ale jednak głośniki stereo, obsługę kart eSIM, nieco lepszą odporność na zachlapanie IP64 i upadek (z wysokości do 2 m) oraz optyczną stabilizację w module standardowym aparatu. Są to istotne zmiany, jednak wiążące się z koniecznością wydania znacznie większych pieniędzy. Starszy Magic 6 Lite kosztuje bowiem dziś około 1000 złotych.

Jednocześnie jednak jest to telefon wyposażony w przestarzały procesor, który wydajnością mocno odstaje od konkurencji. Do tego zabrakło najnowszych standardów łączności bezprzewodowej, wodoodporności, a aparat to takie niezbędne minimum – radzi sobie OK, ale nie oferuje nic, czym wybijałby się na tle rywali. Mówiąc krótko, bohater testu to taki porządny, ale jednak średniak. O jego opłacalności w znacznej mierze zadecyduje cena. I tu pojawia się pewien problem, bo tej w chwili pisania tego tekstu jeszcze nie znamy. Jeśli okaże się, że zamknie się ona w 1500 zł, Honor Magic7 Lite będzie można nazwać rozsądnym wyborem w swojej kategorii. Plotki sugerują jednak, że mówimy o kwotach rzędu 1600 – 1700 zł, a za takie pieniądze znajdziemy urządzenia lepsze i to pod praktycznie każdym względem.

W nowszym modelu dostajemy wyższą normę uszczelnienia obudowy wraz z odpornością na upadki z 2 metrów, głośniki stereo, znacznie wyższą maksymalną jasność ekranu oraz niesamowitą baterię krzemowo-węglową o pojemności 6600 mAh z niemal dwukrotnie szybszym ładowaniem o mocy 65W. To jedna z największych baterii na rynku i bez wątpienia najlepsza w tym segmencie cenowym. Zdecydowana większość smartfonów nie ma jeszcze baterii krzemowo-węglowych. Pozwoliło to osiągnąć Magic 7 Lite rekordowy czas działania na baterii podczas strumieniowania wideo dochodzący do 33h. Jeśli ktoś szuka przede wszystkim dobrego i jasnego ekranu AMOLED i długiego działania to Honor Magic 7 Lite będzie doskonałym wyborem.

This near 6.8-inch blower boasts a 6600mAh battery, one of the biggest of any mid-range mobile, with 66W wired charging. I've tested out the dual lens camera and here's some photo and video samples from my 24 hours of play time. And I've also wielded the Honor Magic 7 Lite during some Call of Duty action, to see if it will satisfy gamers. Spoiler: you've got the same Snapdragon here as the previous 6 Lite. Sadly it's old Android 14 and Magic OS 8 stashed on the Honor Magic 7 Lite straight out of the box. Here's hoping it's updated to the latest software soon. Still, at least you don't get many annoying apps pre-installed and that design is pleasingly skinny and light.

Honor:

Karty z tej kategorii są w stanie pociągnąć płynnie najnowsze gry, ale

nie ze wszystkimi opcjami i nie w wysokiej rozdzielczości. Szczególnie

wymagające gry chodzą tylko na minimalnych ustawieniach, w wyniku

czego często mocno cierpi jakość grafiki. Układy z tej klasy powinny

zainteresować osoby rzadko grające w gry.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Zintegrowana jednostka graficzna w Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC dla smartfonów z trzema plasterkami po 1,1 GHz każdy. Zintegrowane 12 MB współdzielonej pamięci podręcznej dla trzech układów. Według Qualcomm, 40% szybszy niż poprzednia generacja (Adreno 750).

Niektóre mniej wymagające nowsze gry mogą działać dobrze na niskich

ustawieniach. Karty te są oczywiście odpowiednie do aplikacji

biurowych i odtwarzania filmów.
