Raczej nie posłuży ci do pracy, ale ma wiele do zaoferowania, jeśli szukasz przede wszystkim urządzenia do konsumowania mediów, sprawdzania poczty czy mediów społecznościowych.

OPPO Pad Air trzeba uznać za naprawdę udany debiut na rynku tabletów w naszym kraju. W zasadzie to urządzenie, które ma wszystko, co powinien oferować taki sprzęt. Niezły wyświetlacz, dobrze grający system audio, niecodzienny design, a do tego uczciwą cenę. To wszystko może spodobać się klientom. Oczywiście ze wszystkimi użytymi przeze mnie stwierdzeniami można dyskutować. Nie jest to demon wydajności, jednak do standardowych zastosowań i codziennego użytkowania powinien w zupełności wystarczyć większości osób. Do tego ColorOS został dobrze zoptymalizowany pod kątem działania na tak dużym ekranie i nie ma tutaj mowy o jakichś większych niedoróbkach bądź mankamentach związanych z jego działaniem. Oczywiście znajdziemy na rynku podobne konstrukcje w nieco niższej cenie. Jako przykład mogę podać Acer Iconia Tab P10, który całkiem niedawno recenzował Wojtek. Za 200 złotych mniej musicie jednak zrezygnować m.in. z 128 GB pamięci wewnętrznej, głośników ze wsparciem Dolby Atmos, możliwości wirtualnego rozszerzenia RAM oraz najnowszej wersji Androida. Podsumowując: OPPO Pad Air nie jest sprzętem dla wymagających, a raczej dla „przeciętnych” użytkowników – do typowo codziennego użytkowania. Tablet oferuje jednak ciekawy design i całkiem dobrą specyfikację. Wiele osób może oczywiście podważać sam sens posiadania tego typu urządzenia, jednak ja po trzech tygodniach spędzonych z OPPO naprawdę się do niego przyzwyczaiłem i wszedł on „na stałe” do mojej codziennej rutyny. Ten sprzęt to dobry wybór dla wszystkich, którzy nie chcą wydawać fortuny na tablet, który ma służyć im do podstawowych czynności. W tym OPPO Pad Air sprawdzi się naprawdę dobrze.

While it doesn’t quite take the crown as our best-value Android tablet, the mere fact that it’s in contention is noteworthy. Especially considering that our current favourites, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and the Xiaomi Pad 5, both cost over £100 more. If that’s too rich for your blood and you’d prefer something under £250, the Oppo Pad Air should float right to the top of your shopping list.

Not everyone needs or wants a tablet so the short answer is yes, provided you’re not a heavy user who expects a productivity tool. For the price, OPPO has delivered a device that home users are going to be delighted with. It’s a good looking device that has a really nice screen and easily delivers on the basic functionality a tablet should offer. The Pad Air is a really impressive first shot into the tablet market by OPPO which I’d happily recommend to the right users. Personally, I’d pay another $100 to $200 for a bit more grunt and an a touch more polish, which will undoubtedly come with time and another generation or two evolution.

The Oppo Pad Air is an excellent full-sized budget tablet that matches its key rival, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, in a number ways and tops it in others. Considering its low price, I'm hugely impressed by the Oppo Pad Air. For starters, its physical design is quite beautiful, and makes it feel like a premium product. And while the processor isn't the fastest, some clever interface features make multitasking a responsive and flexible experience. There are some clear limitations here. The most obvious the lack of audio jack, so anyone wanting to watch movies on long journeys will need to have an alternative to ordinary wired headphones. If you want to use a tablet for photo or video editing, or are keen gamer, you'll want to look elsewhere. And you prefer to use a cellular connection to Wi-Fi, for whatever reason, then this isn't the tablet for you either. But if those aren't deal-breakers, this tablet has a lot to offer for a low price. If you're primarily seeking a tablet for watching video, listening to music and/or day-to-day tasks such as checking emails, surfing the web, checking social media and using apps, the Oppo Pad Air offers excellent value.

The display has a contrast shift at an angle, and it's 60Hz only; the camera image quality is appalling, battery life is below average, and even the charging speed isn't competitive. The set of four speakers failed to impress as well. On the other hand, the build quality is nice; it has a microSD card slot, performance is mostly on par with the competition, it's lightweight, and it has capable software with some advanced multitasking functionalities. Unfortunately, it's hard to recommend the tablet at the current price. At INR17,000 in India, it's a direct competitor to the Redmi Pad and it's a much better choice. At €300 in Europe for 4/64GB, it's downright expensive as there is a small gap within reach of the Xiaomi Pad 5, which is a device in a whole different market segment. Not to mention the older Realme Pad, which at least as good and costs a lot less.

After spending some time using the device, I can say that if you are working from home and looking to buy a decent tablet for work at a budget, the Oppo Pad Air is a good option to consider. One of the few things that might disappoint you is the absence of a headphone jack. However, if you have Bluetooth earbuds handy, it shouldn’t be much of an issue. This brings me to the end of this review. So, should you buy the Oppo Pad Air? To answer this, let’s look at the competition first. For a thousand bucks more, you can get the Realme Pad with better performance and an LTE option. But there are no tablet-specific software tweaks here. The same drawback was on the Moto Tab G70 that I reviewed earlier. And I expect the same with the newly launched Moto G62 LTE, which otherwise is very similar to the Pad Air. Then we have the Galaxy Tab A8. Samsung’s experience in making tablets and foldables is reflected well here but the specs it offers are not competitive enough for the price. In my opinion, Oppo Pad Air is the middle ground. It is not a perfect tablet, I mean, it is hard to be at this particular price point. However, it has a decent set of specs and complementary software as well. Unless, if you expect hardcore gaming and multi-tasking, which you should not do with a budget tablet, it will fare you well, especially for school work and multimedia.

Oppo Pad Neo ma sporo argumentów przemawiających za tym, by znaleźć się w naszych rękach. Z pewnością najmocniejszym z nich jest obecność modułu LTE, który pozwoli korzystać z tabletu bez ograniczeń w każdym miejscu. Ponadto mamy tu wszystko, czego potrzeba do standardowego użytkowania: dobrej jakości wyświetlacz, świetnie grające głośniki i solidny czas pracy na jednym ładowaniu. lternatywą dla Oppo może być np. Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. Jest on o stówkę droższy, jednak musimy się liczyć tutaj z niższą pojemnością akumulatora oraz sporo niższą rozdzelczością wyświetlacza. Na plus Samusnga przemawia natomiast moduł 5G. Podsumowując, uważam, że Oppo Pad Neo to całkiem ciekawa propozycja, którą warto rozważyć, szczególnie jeśli zamierza się używać tabletu np. w podróży, gdzie nie mamy możliwości połączenia się z siecią Wi-Fi. Warto pospieszyć się z ewentualnym zakupem, ponieważ do 18 lutego trwa promocja, dzięki której przy zakupie tabletu w prezencie otrzymacie słuchawki Oppo Enco Buds2 oraz opaskę Oppo Band 2.

As a content consuming device, the OPPO Pad Neo truly its great. It has superb battery life, a rich and detailed display, and a pleasing UI that brings the entertainment experience all together. The problem we have, however, is that it is not well positioned as a device that can be used for work too, which at R6 999, a tablet like this, really should. The fact that OPPO seemingly sells no branded accessories to pair with the Pad Neo is rather telling too, as there is no protective cover in the box, and seemingly no options we can spot online either. Added to this is the fact that it can be paired via Bluetooth to a keyboard, but seemingly has not been optimised for such an experience. Perhaps we are asking more from the OPPO Pad Neo than we should, but if a great smartphone is required to enhance your ability to both work and play, the same should hold true of a great tablet. As such, the OPPO Pad Neo is only successful on the play aspect, and not the work one.

Overall, the OPPO Pad Neo is a great budget tablet for those who just need one to be productive outdoors, but don’t want to spend too much money on a high-end tablet. At the price of PHP 15,999, it does offer great value for money since it can play most games, has a decent display, and more than adequate speakers. Most importantly, the Pad Neo can help you get work done. If you have an extra SIM lying around, you can even have it connected to LTE, and not be dependent on WiFi. It also has stylus support for those who want to draw or be creative. In addition, you also have the useful features of ColorOS 13.2. The only downside is that the screen isn’t exactly the best. With only 400 nits of brightness to work with, you might have a hard time seeing things especially when it’s really sunny outside. The 90Hz refresh rate might also be a factor for some. Not to mention, you don’t have the best cameras either.

For the price of RM1,399 – it’s one of the better entry-level tablets that money can buy now. But that is only if we look at this tablet in isolation. If we consider all the tablets that we have in the market right now, then the Xiaomi Pad 6 at the same price of RM1,399 with much, much better specs and screen. I know MIUI is bad in comparison, but for the same price – I still think the Xiaomi Pad 6 is a better deal.
