Czas na werdykt. Telefon kosztuje 1500 zł bez złotówki, co czyni go moim zdaniem całkiem atrakcyjną propozycję, szczególnie dla tych, dla których istotny jest wyświetlacz. Ten telefon ma bardzo dobry wyświetlacz, ma też całkiem dobre głośniki, czyli do konsumpcji multimediów będzie świetny. Zdjęcie mogłyby być nieco lepsze, szczególnie jeżeli chodzi o wszystkie dodatkowe obiektywy, natomiast główny obiektyw daje radę. Bateria mogłaby zapewniać nieco dłuższy czas działania, bo raczej nie czuć tych 5100 mAh. Gdybym nie wiedział, jaka bateria jest w środku, to obstawiałbym 4500, ale może uda się to poprawić jakąś aktualizacją. Skoro już jestem przy aktualizacjach - to jedna wielka niewiadoma. Na ten moment Android 13 i MIUI 14 i zobaczymy, co dalej.

POCO nie zawodzi i rozszerza swoją ofertę o kolejne ciekawe urządzenie, które może nieźle namieszać w średniej półce cenowej, bo X6 z pewnością znajdzie wielu odbiorców. To uniwersalny smartfon, który w cenie 1499 PLN jest w stanie zaspokoić potrzeby większości użytkowników oczekujących sprawnego działania w codziennych zastosowaniach typu serwisy streamingowe z filmami i muzyką, zakupy online, przeglądanie sieci czy kontakty z rodziną oraz przyjaciółmi na wszelkiej maści komunikatorach. Nie bez znaczenia jest też atrakcyjna stylistyka urządzenia, która nawiązuje do aktualnych trendów i obudowa z certyfikatem IP54, chociaż trzeba nieco przymknąć oko na plecki zbierające odciski palców, a nie każdy gustuje też w wyspach na aparaty zajmujących całą szerokość urządzenia.

Podsumowując, uważam, że Poco X6 5G to całkiem udany średniopółkowiec. Urządzenie odznacza wiele ważnych punktów na liście kompletnego smartfona w proponowanym budżecie. Szczególnie na plus zapisuje się wyśmienity ekran, szybkie ładowanie, a także płynność działania na co dzień, jak i w nieco bardziej wymagających sytuacjach. Minusy? Tutaj moim zdaniem największy problem to przeciętny czas pracy na 5G czy w cyklach mieszanych (jak na wielkość ogniwa) i tylko Android 13 po wyjęciu z pudełka, kiedy wariant Pro może cieszyć się z najnowszego systemu, wspieranego przez nowy OS (HyperOS). Oczekiwałbym też nieco więcej od aparatu, choć ten z pewnością nie należy do złych. Wszystkie te rzeczy można w pewnym stopniu skorygować udoskonaleniem oprogramowania. Czy tak się stanie? Na ten moment możemy mówić jedynie o tym, co jest.

No właśnie, system. Uważam, że tylko kwestie dotyczące oprogramowania mogą zatrzymać niezdecydowanych przez zakupem testowanego właśnie POCO X6 5G. Model ten niestety nie startuje z Androidem 14 i HyperOS, ale z leciwym już Androidem 13 z MIUI 14. Dla osób przyzwyczajonych do tego środowiska pewnie nie ma to większego znaczenia, ale nie da się ukryć, że system ten ma sporo wad i specyficznych rozwiązań. Wspomnę chociażby o sporej liczbie niepotrzebnych aplikacji na start, niezbyt intuicyjnych w obsłudze wbudowanych programach od Xiaomi czy braku łatwego dostępu do pełnego always-on-display. Mam tylko cichą nadzieję, że spodziewana aktualizacja do HyperOS wyeliminuje większość niedogodności MIUI. Tak czy owak, biorąc pod uwagę wszystkie zalety smartfona, łącznie z bardzo atrakcyjną ceną promocyjną (1299 zł zamiast 1499 zł), trudno nie przyznać POCO X6 5G widocznych poniżej znaków jakości. Alternatywą w tym segmencie mogą okazać się chyba tylko modele od Motoroli, jak np. moto g84 czy Edge 40 (Neo).

Urządzenie nie pada na twarz nawet przy analizie jego możliwości fotograficznych. Pomocnicze fotosensory 8 i 2 Mpix są proste i mało funkcjonalne, czego nie można powiedzieć o głównym module 64 Mpix ze stabilizacją hybrydową. Zdjęcia dzienne niewiele ustępują tym z flagowców, zdjęcia wieczorne charakteryzują się dobrą szczegółowością. To prawda, że ​​hałas jest na nich dość łatwy do zauważenia. Dźwięk stereo jest wystarczająco głośny; w razie potrzeby można usłyszeć bas w kompozycjach muzycznych. Płatności zbliżeniowe NFC, obsługa sieci 5G i port podczerwieni do sterowania sprzętem AGD to przyjemne bonusy do wielu zalet niedrogiego i dobrze wyważonego telefonu.

Among the contentious points, I can only mention the glossy body, which is challenging to keep clean. However, if you think about it, this issue is more relevant to the black version of the smartphone. With the white and blue versions, there should be fewer problems in this regard. Another contentious point is the cameras. Overall, the cameras of the POCO X6 5G capture decent photos and videos. Decent, but honestly, it could be better, especially in terms of low-light photo and video quality. In all other aspects, the POCO X6 5G is solid. It’s so good that it has the potential to become a favorite among users and a bestseller.

The Poco X6 5G launched in India with its big brother, the Poco X6 5G Pro. Both smartphones roll out in the Indian market as competition that even pricier phones are afraid of. The Poco X6 5G launched in India at a starting price of ₹21,999, and believe me this smartphone is worth every penny. According to my testing and experience, the Poco X6 5G is a proper mid-range killer. Its beautiful and responsive display is as good as a sub-35K smartphone’s display. The processor is also a mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 runs games and other apps smoothly. The low-light camera is an exception, but otherwise, the camera is brilliant including the front camera. Coming to its battery, it’s one thing that Poco should focus on. If that’s fixed….this smartphone is such a gem. However, I really loved the fast charging in this smartphone.

These smartphones were designed for enthusiasts who wanted the highest performance and battery possible in this price range and Xiaomi certainly delivered that. Both smartphones have close flagship-level displays, chipsets, batteries, and even design. No other smartphone comes close to providing this level of value at the same price tag. Both smartphones are dominating their respective price segment. They are excellent smartphones but not without flaws. Like the IP dust and water protection could have been better or even better camera performance. But considering the price tag, it’s hard to call them cons. So, if you are an enthusiast whose priority is great design, fantastic display, or performance-oriented chipset, then these new smartphones are going to be perfect for you. But if you care more about the camera, you may want to go for some other smartphone.

In a vacuum, the Poco X6 is a great purchase, it has excellent specifications for the price, and it’s very enjoyable to live with. The problem comes via its Pro sibling, which only costs £50 more and is a much more compelling option. The X6 Pro stands out as one of the best options for gaming in its price bracket, and that’s definitely not the case with the standard Poco X6. However, the display, speakers and charging speeds are still a cut above most of the competition. You still get that solid main camera, too. If you know you’ll never be gaming, or doing anything processor-heavy like video editing, then you could save yourself some cash here. In most cases, though, I’d advise saving up the extra and going for the Pro. Then you’ll get double the storage, Android 14, and a much faster processor. It’s also worth considering the Samsung Galaxy A34, which can currently be found for less than the X6 and offers longer software support and far less bloatware. With that model, you’d lose out on some performance and get a less impressive display, though.

POCO X6 5G is a no-nonsense, performance-oriented phone that is ideal for gaming, watching videos, or multitasking. With 67W fast-charging support, the phone refuels in no time and is ready to go again, with its 5,100mAh battery keeping the lights on beyond a day with ease. The phone also manages to click decent pictures but it does have some consistency issues in this department. While I like the design of the phone, if you hate using phone cases, you’d have a problem here as the protruding camera sensors cause wobbling issues while the phone is lying on a flat surface. In this price range, I cannot think of a phone that offers better performance, so I’d say that if you are looking for a phone that delivers on this front, the X6 is a no-brainer. However, if you’re looking for a better camera phone, you can go for other options such as Moto Edge 40 Neo, Realme 11 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy F54.

While the latter, with its 200 MP camera, will surely offer a better camera performance, there is also a big price difference between the Poco X6 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro. The Poco X6 is priced in India at a starting price of Rs 19,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant, and goes up to Rs 22,999 for the model that offers 12 GB RAM 512 GB storage. The Redmi Note 13 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 23,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version, and goes up to Rs 27,999 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB option. There is a price difference of straight up Rs 4,000 for the base variant and Rs 5,000 for the top variant. Essentially, the Poco X6 is able to offer a more well-rounded performance for a much lower price. So, unless you are looking at a camera-centric performance, and don’t mind shelling out an extra grand, the Poco X6 would definitely be better value for money.

So overall, the POCO X6 is a very capable phone with decent performance numbers and battery life. Not to mention it can easily run most of the games you can think of playing such as Genshin and Honkai. Best of all, it comes at an affordable price without stepping into the Xiaomi range. As for the price, the POCO X6 starts at just PHP XX,XXX, making it a serious contender in the mid-range smartphone segment. For that price, you already get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with more than enough RAM and storage to match. With POCO starting the year strong, mid-range smartphones that will be launched later this year will have some serious competition with the X6. But if you’re in dire need of upgrading to a more capable phone this January 2024, you can’t go wrong with the Poco X6.

The Poco X6 is an excellent upgrade over the Poco X5, improving on almost every single aspect - design, display, battery and charging, speakers, performance, camera, software even. And it is as well-rounded as every other Xiaomi-made phone and offers great bang for the money. We liked the Poco X6 for its IP54-rated design, but the real showstopper is the Dolby Vision OLED with all sorts of niceties. The 67W fast charging and the new chip are quite alright, too. The cameras do well in broad daylight, but the low-light performance is mediocre at best. We did expect more. Finally, the Poco X6 should have launched with HyperOS like the Poco X6 Pro, but alas - it comes with Android 13 and MIUI 14. The HyperOS update is around the corner, but it will eat one of those three promised major updates right after you buy the phone, which is a terrible trick. Overall, the Poco X6 is a solid phone with competitive price and features. And that is why it is easy to recommend in spite of some not so major flaws - it is just a solid offer.
