But it's certainly one of the best budget mid-range smartphones in 2024 and a hot rival vs the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. That 64MP main camera is a respectable effort, if not much of an upgrade over the X5 series. The Poco X6 Pro can capture crisp photos if the lighting isn't too dodgy, as well as 4K video on demand. If you're a gamer, multi-tasker or heavy user, the Poco X6 Pro will be a smart choice on a budget. That Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset can make short work of Genshin Impact and other Android titles, while the battery life is also superb. Film fans will adore that 1.5k AMOLED screen with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. I've used the Poco X6 Pro as my full-time phone for those seven days and it's a big upgrade in some ways, incremental in others. But it's certainly one of the best budget mid-range smartphones in 2024 and a hot rival vs the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. That 64MP main camera is a respectable effort, if not much of an upgrade over the X5 series. The Poco X6 Pro can capture crisp photos if the lighting isn't too dodgy, as well as 4K video on demand. If you're a gamer, multi-tasker or heavy user, the Poco X6 Pro will be a smart choice on a budget. That Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset can make short work of Genshin Impact and other Android titles, while the battery life is also superb. Film fans will adore that 1.5k AMOLED screen with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. The Poco X6 Pro 5G also boasts boomy stereo speakers and Xiaomi's latest Hyper OS launcher, which smells a bit like MiUI. So you've got the same Game Turbo features etc.

Czas na werdykt. Telefon kosztuje 1500 zł bez złotówki, co czyni go moim zdaniem całkiem atrakcyjną propozycję, szczególnie dla tych, dla których istotny jest wyświetlacz. Ten telefon ma bardzo dobry wyświetlacz, ma też całkiem dobre głośniki, czyli do konsumpcji multimediów będzie świetny. Zdjęcie mogłyby być nieco lepsze, szczególnie jeżeli chodzi o wszystkie dodatkowe obiektywy, natomiast główny obiektyw daje radę. Bateria mogłaby zapewniać nieco dłuższy czas działania, bo raczej nie czuć tych 5100 mAh. Gdybym nie wiedział, jaka bateria jest w środku, to obstawiałbym 4500, ale może uda się to poprawić jakąś aktualizacją. Skoro już jestem przy aktualizacjach - to jedna wielka niewiadoma. Na ten moment Android 13 i MIUI 14 i zobaczymy, co dalej.

POCO nie zawodzi i rozszerza swoją ofertę o kolejne ciekawe urządzenie, które może nieźle namieszać w średniej półce cenowej, bo X6 z pewnością znajdzie wielu odbiorców. To uniwersalny smartfon, który w cenie 1499 PLN jest w stanie zaspokoić potrzeby większości użytkowników oczekujących sprawnego działania w codziennych zastosowaniach typu serwisy streamingowe z filmami i muzyką, zakupy online, przeglądanie sieci czy kontakty z rodziną oraz przyjaciółmi na wszelkiej maści komunikatorach. Nie bez znaczenia jest też atrakcyjna stylistyka urządzenia, która nawiązuje do aktualnych trendów i obudowa z certyfikatem IP54, chociaż trzeba nieco przymknąć oko na plecki zbierające odciski palców, a nie każdy gustuje też w wyspach na aparaty zajmujących całą szerokość urządzenia.

Podsumowując, uważam, że Poco X6 5G to całkiem udany średniopółkowiec. Urządzenie odznacza wiele ważnych punktów na liście kompletnego smartfona w proponowanym budżecie. Szczególnie na plus zapisuje się wyśmienity ekran, szybkie ładowanie, a także płynność działania na co dzień, jak i w nieco bardziej wymagających sytuacjach. Minusy? Tutaj moim zdaniem największy problem to przeciętny czas pracy na 5G czy w cyklach mieszanych (jak na wielkość ogniwa) i tylko Android 13 po wyjęciu z pudełka, kiedy wariant Pro może cieszyć się z najnowszego systemu, wspieranego przez nowy OS (HyperOS). Oczekiwałbym też nieco więcej od aparatu, choć ten z pewnością nie należy do złych. Wszystkie te rzeczy można w pewnym stopniu skorygować udoskonaleniem oprogramowania. Czy tak się stanie? Na ten moment możemy mówić jedynie o tym, co jest.

No właśnie, system. Uważam, że tylko kwestie dotyczące oprogramowania mogą zatrzymać niezdecydowanych przez zakupem testowanego właśnie POCO X6 5G. Model ten niestety nie startuje z Androidem 14 i HyperOS, ale z leciwym już Androidem 13 z MIUI 14. Dla osób przyzwyczajonych do tego środowiska pewnie nie ma to większego znaczenia, ale nie da się ukryć, że system ten ma sporo wad i specyficznych rozwiązań. Wspomnę chociażby o sporej liczbie niepotrzebnych aplikacji na start, niezbyt intuicyjnych w obsłudze wbudowanych programach od Xiaomi czy braku łatwego dostępu do pełnego always-on-display. Mam tylko cichą nadzieję, że spodziewana aktualizacja do HyperOS wyeliminuje większość niedogodności MIUI. Tak czy owak, biorąc pod uwagę wszystkie zalety smartfona, łącznie z bardzo atrakcyjną ceną promocyjną (1299 zł zamiast 1499 zł), trudno nie przyznać POCO X6 5G widocznych poniżej znaków jakości. Alternatywą w tym segmencie mogą okazać się chyba tylko modele od Motoroli, jak np. moto g84 czy Edge 40 (Neo).

The Poco X6 5G launched in India at a starting price of ₹21,999, and believe me this smartphone is worth every penny. According to my testing and experience, the Poco X6 5G is a proper mid-range killer. Its beautiful and responsive display is as good as a sub-35K smartphone’s display. The processor is also a mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 runs games and other apps smoothly. The low-light camera is an exception, but otherwise, the camera is brilliant including the front camera. Coming to its battery, it’s one thing that Poco should focus on. If that’s fixed….this smartphone is such a gem. However, I really loved the fast charging in this smartphone.

So, if you are an enthusiast whose priority is great design, fantastic display, or performance-oriented chipset, then these new smartphones are going to be perfect for you. But if you care more about the camera, you may want to go for some other smartphone.

In a vacuum, the Poco X6 is a great purchase, it has excellent specifications for the price, and it’s very enjoyable to live with. The problem comes via its Pro sibling, which only costs £50 more and is a much more compelling option. The X6 Pro stands out as one of the best options for gaming in its price bracket, and that’s definitely not the case with the standard Poco X6. However, the display, speakers and charging speeds are still a cut above most of the competition. You still get that solid main camera, too. If you know you’ll never be gaming, or doing anything processor-heavy like video editing, then you could save yourself some cash here. In most cases, though, I’d advise saving up the extra and going for the Pro. Then you’ll get double the storage, Android 14, and a much faster processor. It’s also worth considering the Samsung Galaxy A34, which can currently be found for less than the X6 and offers longer software support and far less bloatware. With that model, you’d lose out on some performance and get a less impressive display, though.

The phone also manages to click decent pictures but it does have some consistency issues in this department. While I like the design of the phone, if you hate using phone cases, you’d have a problem here as the protruding camera sensors cause wobbling issues while the phone is lying on a flat surface. In this price range, I cannot think of a phone that offers better performance, so I’d say that if you are looking for a phone that delivers on this front, the X6 is a no-brainer. However, if you’re looking for a better camera phone, you can go for other options such as Moto Edge 40 Neo, Realme 11 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy F54.

Not to mention it can easily run most of the games you can think of playing such as Genshin and Honkai. Best of all, it comes at an affordable price without stepping into the Xiaomi range. As for the price, the POCO X6 starts at just PHP XX,XXX, making it a serious contender in the mid-range smartphone segment. For that price, you already get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with more than enough RAM and storage to match. The Poco X6 is an excellent upgrade over the Poco X5, improving on almost every single aspect - design, display, battery and charging, speakers, performance, camera, software even. And it is as well-rounded as every other Xiaomi-made phone and offers great bang for the money. We liked the Poco X6 for its IP54-rated design, but the real showstopper is the Dolby Vision OLED with all sorts of niceties. The 67W fast charging and the new chip are quite alright, too. The cameras do well in broad daylight, but the low-light performance is mediocre at best. We did expect more. Finally, the Poco X6 should have launched with HyperOS like the Poco X6 Pro, but alas - it comes with Android 13 and MIUI 14. The HyperOS update is around the corner, but it will eat one of those three promised major updates right after you buy the phone, which is a terrible trick. Overall, the Poco X6 is a solid phone with competitive price and features. And that is why it is easy to recommend in spite of some not so major flaws - it is just a solid offer.

In summary, the POCO X6 Neo does face some stiff competition in its price range against the likes of the Moto G54 5G (review), Lava Blaze Curve 5G (review), and of course, the Redmi Note 13 5G. While the former two phones offer better performance (at least if we go by benchmark numbers), the Redmi handset offers better camera performance. All said and done, the X6 Neo emerges as an option worth considering for consumers seeking a blend of performance, versatility, and value. While it may not revolutionise the smartphone landscape, aspects like refined design, dependable performance and immersive display position it as a worthy contender in its price segment.

The Poco X6 Neo is a really well-designed and well-built device with a high-quality display. The design alone makes us want to recommend it because of how nice it feels in the hand in a way that makes it far better than several more expensive smartphones. The performance, for the most part, is also good, as is the general camera quality. The only downside would be the software experience, more specifically the intrusive nature of the ads, notifications, and bloatware. The single loudspeaker is also unbecoming even at this price point, and certain parts of the software could use more optimization to improve performance. We are also not fond of the device detecting benchmarks and artificially inflating its scores. Still, for the price, the X6 Neo is really good value and something we are happy to recommend.

The Poco X6 Neo 5G has a starting price of Rs. 15,999 and sees competition from phones such as the Realme 12 5G, Redmi Note 13 5G, and the Vivo T3 5G. However, only the Realme 12 5G is in the same price bracket, whereas the others cost a little bit more. Of course, when you pay more, you will also get a better phone, especially when it comes to camera performance. Poco's X6 Neo's hardware isn't really new, but it does offer good value for money. The AMOLED display is definitely something that you won't find in this price segment and is great for content consumption. The phone can also take good photos in daylight conditions. You get good battery life, and decent performance as well. At this price point, the Poco X6 Neo is definitely a hero.

The Poco X6 Neo continues the company’s tradition of offering value-for-money smartphones with plenty of features. It offers a great AMOLED display with slim bezels and remains one of the few phones in this segment to provide an AMOLED screen. You also get a slim body with a lightweight design, decent performance, and excellent battery life. If you can look past the average low-light camera output and bloatware-ridden Android 13, then the Poco X6 Neo is a great all-rounder smartphone at its price. You can also take a look at other options, such as the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G, Realme 12 5G, and the Lava Blaze Curve 5G.

The POCO X6 Neo is one of the best phones for content consumption under ₹16,000. Its incredibly slim bezels coupled with a bright AMOLED display ensure that you are in for a visual treat – at home or on the go. The phone also boasts an amazingly slim and lightweight build, perfect for day-to-day usage. However, it does miss the beat in some areas. For example, the copious amounts of bloatware is quite annoying and the battery life isn’t the best in the segment. Moreover, the phone’s performance is nothing special compared to the competition. Is the phone worth its asking price? Yes. The value aspect only crumbles if you’re a power user who prioritises speedy performance and excellent battery life the most. POCO recently launched its POCO X6 series – including the POCO X6 5G (review) and POCO X6 Pro 5G (review) – to much fanfare. Now, POCO is bringing the youngest sibling of the trio to India.
