Niemniej jednak, jego limity mocy ujawniają, że Minisforum umieściło Intel Core i9-12900HK na nieco smyczy, przynajmniej jeśli chodzi o jego maksymalne turbo. Mimo to, jego wydajność jest nadal stosunkowo dobra. Nasza szczegółowa recenzja ujawni, jakie zalety i wady ma Minisforum Venus Series NAB9.

Venus Series NAB9 to najnowszy wydajny mini PC wydany przez producenta Minisforum. Jest to mały komputer oparty na procesorze Intel Core i9-12900HK który obecnie można znaleźć już od 359 USD (MRSP: 439 USD). Cena ta dotyczy jednak tylko modelu barebone, który nie jest wyposażony w pamięć RAM ani dysk SSD. Najwyższa konfiguracja Venus Series NAB9, którą testujemy, kosztuje 509 USD (MRSP: 629 USD). Jest on wyposażony w 32 GB pamięci RAM i dysk SSD o pojemności 1 TB. Sprawa

Wizualnie, Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 nie wygląda inaczej niż NAB6 czy NPB5: obudowa jest taka sama, co oczywiście wiąże się z tymi samymi zaletami i wadami. Jedną z pozytywnych cech jest stabilna konstrukcja - to zasługa metalowej obudowy. Pokrywa i dolna część są wykonane z tworzywa sztucznego, dzięki czemu są nieco tańsze niż metalowe powierzchnie. Jeśli chodzi o jakość wykonania, nie mamy nic negatywnego do powiedzenia.

Dzięki kompaktowym rozmiarom, obudowa Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 nie powinna zajmować zbyt wiele miejsca na biurku. Jego wymiary to zaledwie 12,7 cm x 12,7 cm. Mimo to, nasza próbka testowa nie jest najbardziej kompaktowa w polu porównawczym. Oba modele od Geekom (XT12 Pro, A7) są jeszcze bardziej kompaktowe. Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 można również przymocować z tyłu monitora za pomocą dołączonego uchwytu VESA. Samo urządzenie waży zaledwie 615 gramów, a jego zasilacz dodaje tylko kolejne 277 gramów do Państwa wagi.

W porównaniu do swoich konkurentów, Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 musi przyznać się do porażki. Mimo to jego przepustowość jest wystarczająca do codziennej pracy biurowej. Jako router testowy wykorzystaliśmy Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000. Alternatywnie, Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 oferuje dwa złącza RJ45, z których oba umożliwiają transfer do 2,5 GBit/s.

Konserwacja Minisforum Venus Series NPB9 jest niezwykle łatwa. Pokrywę obudowy można zdjąć bez użycia narzędzi, a pod nią znajdują się wszystkie ważne komponenty, takie jak dysk SSD, pamięć RAM i moduł WLAN. Ponieważ Minisforum oferuje NAB9 również w wersji barebone, można bardzo łatwo zainstalować komponenty. Wentylator procesora, który znajduje się na spodzie urządzenia, jest nieco trudniejszy do zdobycia. W tym celu należy zdjąć dolną płytę. Producent odradza demontaż chłodzenia procesora, ponieważ wykorzystuje ono ciekły metal.

Warunki testowania

Wszystkie testy wydajności przeprowadziliśmy przy użyciu maksymalnego profilu energetycznego. Wydajność SoC nie została zmieniona w BIOS-ie, a zamiast tego pozostawiono ją w stanie dostarczonym z komputerem, zgodnie z ustawieniami producenta.

Procesor

Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 jest wyposażony w procesor Intel Core i9-12900HK. SoC należy do serii Alder Lake i jest topowym modelem 12. generacji procesorów mobilnych. SoC świętował swój debiut w 2022 roku, co oznacza, że zainstalowany model nie jest już całkowicie aktualny. Mimo to porównanie wydajności wykazało bardzo dobry wynik, ponieważ Intel Core i9-12900HK był w stanie dotrzymać kroku nowszym procesorom pomimo swojego wieku. Udokumentowaliśmy doskonałą wydajność jednordzeniową, a jego wydajność wielordzeniowa również była niezmiennie wysoka. W sumie użytkownicy mają do dyspozycji 14 rdzeni z 20 wątkami. Minisforum podaje pobór mocy Intel Core i9-12900HK na poziomie do 64 watów. Jest to nieco mniej niż to, co Intel podaje jako maksimum. Pod ciągłym obciążeniem zapotrzebowanie na energię spada jednak tylko nieznacznie do 45 watów.

Ogólna wydajność systemu PC korzysta z doskonałej wydajności procesora, dzięki czemu Minisforum Venus Series NPB9 ponownie uzyskał dobre wyniki. Jednak podczas testów pamięci RAM nasza próbka testowa pozostała nieco w tyle. Powodem tego jest zastosowany standard, ponieważ trzy pierwsze miejsca zajmują mini PC wyposażone w pamięć RAM DDR5. Subiektywnie, Minisforum Venus Series NPB9 działa bardzo szybko i bez zauważalnych opóźnień.

Nie udokumentowaliśmy żadnych zwiększonych opóźnień podczas zwykłego surfowania po Internecie. Zauważyliśmy je tylko podczas odtwarzania testowego wideo 4K. Nie było jednak żadnych spadków klatek i ogólnie rzecz biorąc, Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 nie miał problemów z odtwarzaniem filmów w wysokiej rozdzielczości. Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 mieści dysk SSD firmy Kingston o pojemności 1 TB. Dysk SSD w naszym systemie testowym zapewnia szybkie prędkości pracy, co zostało potwierdzone w wynikach testów porównawczych. Szybkość odczytu i zapisu była bezbłędna i nawet przy stałym obciążeniu pozostawała stabilna. Minisforum zainstalowało stosunkowo dużą jednostkę chłodzącą na samym dysku SSD, która jest wyposażona w aktywną chłodnicę. Łącznie w komputerze można zainstalować dwa dyski SSD. Oprócz dysku SSD NVMe w naszej próbce testowej, pod pokrywą obudowy znajduje się miejsce na kolejne 2,5-calowe urządzenie pamięci masowej. Jego maksymalna wysokość może jednak wynosić tylko siedem milimetrów.

Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 zajmuje się obliczeniami 3D, a także wyświetlaniem obrazu na Minisforum Venus Series NAB9. Chociaż jest to jeden z najszybszych iGPU z tej serii, Intel musi przyznać się do wyraźnej porażki z nowszymi iGPU od AMD. Intel zmienił tylko architekturę swoich iGPU opartych na Meteor Lake. Proszę spojrzeć na Acemagic F2Ajako przykład. Niemniej jednak, AMD nadal zapewnia nieco wyższą wydajność 3D dzięki swoim Radeon 780M.

Obudowa Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 nagrzewa się tylko nieznacznie na biegu jałowym. Pod obciążeniem jej metalowe powierzchnie nagrzewają się znacznie bardziej. Wyloty wentylatorów znajdują się po prawej stronie i z tyłu komputera.

Sam procesor podczas testu obciążeniowego osiągnął zaledwie 78 °C - to imponujący wynik. Średnia temperatura komputera wynosi 71 °C, czyli jest dużo niższa i została osiągnięta przy ciągłym obciążeniu 45 W. Mając to na uwadze, producent mógł wybrać nieco bardziej konserwatywną krzywą wentylatora, aby nieco zmniejszyć emisję hałasu. Minisforum mogło jednak również nadać Intel Core i9-12900HK wyższy limit mocy, ponieważ jednostka chłodząca jest z pewnością potężna.

Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 oferuje imponującą wydajność. Jego procesor Intel Core i9-12900HK nadal może konkurować z bardziej nowoczesnymi SoC, jeśli chodzi o samą wydajność CPU. Pod względem wydajności 3D, przestarzały już iGPU jest wyraźnie gorszy od nowszych modeli Intela i AMD. Minisforum Venus Series NAB9 nie może jednak zdobyć żadnych nagród za wydajność, co pokazują wartości zużycia energii. Pod względem ceny, ten mini PC nie będzie obecnie kosztował Państwa ani złotówki (509 USD), chociaż Geekom A7 lub Acemagic F2A są znacznie droższe.
