This is a laptop that’s beset by little niggles, none more disappointing than the infinity display, which is meant to be the star of the show. If all you want is a fast Windows laptop with a bright screen, and colour accuracy isn’t of prime importance, it’s a fantastic piece of kit. But it isn’t all that we were hoping for.

A big, solid yes: high-resolution displays and compact bodies are the way laptops are heading. Tablets have been packing QHD+ displays for some time, and small portable productivity machines like the Dell XPS 13 mark an exciting shift in the industry for anyone who values a touchscreen and a full-size keyboard. Like many other laptops with pixel-packed displays, the Dell suffers from battery life drain, something that Intel's future generations of processors will look to address.

These knocks against the XPS 13 prevent us from awarding it a Kick Ass score, but quibbles aside, this is still a great Ultrabook. Its 12.9-second boot-up time is among the fastest we’ve ever seen, and the laptop is ultimately quite sleek, incredibly portable, and priced fairly. It’s not perfect, but it may very well be the best Ultrabook out there at the moment.

There is simply no finer thin and light laptop currently available for Windows users than the 2015 iteration of the Dell XPS 13. Aside from a slightly below par keyboard, on every other level it’s up there with the best ultrabooks and yet costs just £799 for the perfectly adequate entry level model. This vastly undercuts most of its Windows competitors and is even £50 cheaper than the 13in MacBook Air, while delivering a considerably better screen. It’s near perfection in portable computing.

The XPS 13 is like a new sports car that instantly becomes a classic. Dell has done an amazing job with the super-slim Aluminium with Carbon fibre design and the Infinity Display makes it hard to take your eyes off it. Add to that a pretty good performance and a reasonable battery life and you have a great Ultrabook- possibly the best I’ve seen running Windows. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a premium quality Windows ultrabook.

Dell's consumer notebooks have really impressed us over the last year, and the XPS 15 is further proof. It has a gorgeous design, an impressive 4K display, and more than enough performance for photo and video editors. My only concern is the amount of heat it kicks out, so you'll want to keep it on a desk, rather than on your lap.

The Dell XPS 13 is one of the finest-looking Windows laptops ever built. With a powerful processor, an SSD and a bag-friendly 1.3kg weight, it's a seriously impressive technical feat. Everyone wants to build the perfect laptop but that is nearly an impossible task given the range of preferences from consumers. Dell is closer to that pinnacle laptop than any I have previously used, combining a first-class design with high performance components, extended battery life and portability. Are there faster laptops you can buy? Yep. Are there thinner and lighter notebooks using Broadwell? Again, yes. Can you find longer battery life in a portable machine? Absolutely, especially in business lineups. But can anything else claim to meld all of these points together with the best trade-offs possible, as the Dell XPS 13 does? I don’t believe so, but I’d love to be proven wrong.

The new XPS 13 from Dell is a truly astonishing device with minimal design flaws, whatsoever. It has a sleek and elegant aluminum chassis with carbon fiber inner frame making it really durable and light at the same time. Also, the display has really thin bezels making it even more compact, while the keyboard remains big enough for comfortable use. The keys are big enough and you will barely see the difference from a full-sized one. The touchpad also has a great design with only one drawback – we’ve noticed some unresponsiveness when using two-finger gestures, like scrolling for example.

As much as I like the MacBook Air, its design has been surpassed by the XPS 13. It's smaller and lighter, and lasts nearly as long on a charge. Having tested both the $1,399 quad-HD touch-screen XPS 13 and the $899, nontouch 1080p version, I prefer the latter. As someone who mainly uses desktop mode in Windows 8.1, I'll gladly sacrifice the touch screen for 4 additional hours of battery life.

Dell did a great job with the XPS 13 9343. They created a compact and light laptop with a 13 inch display, fast hardware, good keyboard/trackpad and long battery life, and on top of all these, a laptop with very little flaws. On the other hand, the proper priced options lack a touchscreen, so if you're not a big fan of matte panels, you're going to have to pay a lot for a model configured to your needs. In the end, when I draw the line, the reviewed Dell XPS 13 model is a good buy. For me is a lighter, smaller, faster and longer lasting computer than my old ThinkPad. I’m loosing on ports and typing experience, but I’m gaining plenty, so I’m happy to make the switch. For everyone else, I believe the XPS 13 can be a solid option if you need a compact, well built and fast computer for everyday activities. It’s not without rivals, and I’m looking here and the Acer Aspire S7-393 and even the Core M Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro and Asus Zenbook UX305, plus the other devices that will be released in the future, including that rumored 12 inch Macbook Air. But it should face them all head-high.

In our opinion, the new 2015 Dell XPS 13 is the notebook to beat currently, for 13-inch machines. It's quite frankly as near "perfect" a design as we've ever seen in an utlralight notebook. In the end, I honestly have few complaints beyond the compressed keyboard and odd camera placement. The XPS 13 gives you good performance and great battery life in an incredibly compact and solid-feeling package. Even the pricing is almost reasonable. This model with its 256GB SSD, 8GB of RAM and QHD+ touchscreen costs $1,400. If that’s too rich, Dell really takes a shot at Apple with its base model. That XPS 13 comes with a 1920x1080 non-touch IPS panel, 128GB SSD and 4GB of RAM. At $800, it packs components a magnitude better than the MacBook Air 11's, and it’s $100 cheaper.

All the same, it’s up against stiff competition from the Asus Zenbook UX305. The £650 Asus is a little slower, larger and heavier, but it’s also a whole lot cheaper than the XPS 13's £1,199 asking price while still being brilliant - even the entry-level 13in MacBook Air costs £849. If size, weight and a backlit keyboard weren’t all-important, that would swing things Asus’s way for us.

Zdecydowanie polecam zakup tego laptopa. Jest wart swojej niemałej ceny. Jeżeli jeszcze uda się Wam dorwać wersję z większą ilością RAMU – bierzcie ją natychmiast! Jedynym mankamentem dla co poniektórych może być fakt, że laptop korzysta z Windows 10. Mnie osobiście system ten bardzo się podoba i pamiętając działanie Windows 8 czy nawet 7, system ten to czysta przyjemność. W sumie czytając trochę o tym laptopie w sieci, okazało się, że jeżeli jednak działanie na Windows jest dla Was nie do przeskoczenia, może przekonujące będzie to, że Dell całkiem nieźle wspiera wszystkie te osoby, które chciałyby korzystać z Linuxa na swoim sprzęcie. Ja jednak pozostanę na duecie Windows 10 i MacOS.

I love the keyboards on ThinkPad notebooks, and the trackpads on MacBooks. But the XPS 15 is my new favorite laptop, hands down. This is not to downplay the XPS 13, itself a fine ultra-portable machine with tremendous upside. The price on the 13-inch machine begins at just $799, and it provides a tremendous experience if you don't need the additional power or larger, better display of the 15-inch model.

The XPS 13 is a welcome return to tip-top form for Dell. In fact, there’s only one thing that really bugs me about the XPS 13, and that’s Dell’s stubborn insistence on forcing dynamic contrast on at all times. It's a stupid decision, in my opinion. That aside, I absolutely love this thing. I could wish for a better GPU – yes, I really do want a slim, gorgeous ultraportable that also plays GTA V – but it'll be a few years until ultraportables routinely come with decent gaming-class graphics. As it stands, this is a powerful, light, lovely ultraportable that comes a hair’s breadth from perfection. I think I can settle for that.

Dell's "prosumer" laptop gets a successful Intel Skylake refresh. Without wanting to downplay the importance of battery and storage, there are enough good things about the refreshed XPS 13 that living with its faults doesn't seem like a big price to pay. Dell XPS 13 w najnowszej wersji, tj. 2017, zaskoczył mnie hybrydową budową. Wcześniejsze generacje tego urządzenia były klasycznymi laptopami, charakteryzującymi się – podobnie zresztą, jak ten dziś testowany – smukłymi ramkami okalającymi ekran. Tymczasem w 9365 budowa się zmieniła i zamiast standardowego ultrabooka, mamy tu urządzenie z ekranem, który można obracać o 360 stopni. W mojej ocenie zmianę tę trzeba zaliczyć na plus XPS 13.

There’s a lot to like about this and I’m really impressed with the specs, performance and the looks of the XPS 13-inch 2 in 1. The review unit is the top of the line i7 with 16GB of RAM and the larger SSD so unsurprisingly there wasn’t any performance issues. It's so close that I'm going to put it this way: I have a longstanding preference for light laptops. The lighter the better (as long as the functionality isn't compromised too much). In this respect, I favor the MacBook. As I said, there's a big difference between 2.7 pounds (XPS) and 2 pounds (MacBook). That said, the XPS' faster performance, touch display, 360-degree hinge, carbon fiber palm rest, fingerprint scanner, and MicroSD card reader may appeal more to certain consumers and businesses.

The “Plus” in the Dell XPS 13 Plus isn’t just a marketing gimmick. The redesigned keyboard, trackpad and internals make for a premium package that feels like a step up from the XPS 13. Of course, that comes at a cost: you’ll pay a few hundred dollars more for them than the standard XPS 13. Is that worth it? For many people, perhaps not — the XPS 13 is already a great laptop, and you would generally be better off investing the money in more memory or storage space. But the new design is undeniably cool, with a minimalist aesthetic that will appeal to those who value style and substance and don’t mind paying a bit extra to get it.

Dell has split the iconic XPS 13 Ultrabook into 2 lines for 2022. We look at both the standard XPS 13 (9315) and XPS 13 Plus (9320) in this review. Both are extremely compact CNC aluminum 13.4” laptops with 16:10 aspect ratio narrow bezel displays, Wi-Fi 6E, Thunderbolt 4 and Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Plus offers higher end display options including our 3.5K OLED and 4K IPS, and it has a faster CPU. The Plus sports a new keyboard design and an interesting borderless trackpad too. The XPS 13 standard edition fights back with a lower price tag and a more conventional keyboard.

The XPS 13 Plus looks incredible and boasts some impressive power under the hood to match. There is a lot to like and it is certainly easy to carry around. However, the battery life simply isn’t up to the mark and Dell’s quality control, particularly when it comes to its drivers, resulted in issues with audio and performance. While it appears this may be rectified with a future software fix, the XPS Plus is difficult to recommend in its current state. Dell's XPX 13 Plus is well designed, light and packs a powerful punch, however, it needs better battery life and polish to take the ultra-portables crown.

I have mixed emotions about this laptop. The Dell XPS 13 Plus is one of the most powerful ultraportables ever, and Dell deserves credit for delivering such speed in a design that’s even more compact than the MacBook Air M2 and MacBook Pro M2. The new Dell also offers a very comfortable keyboard and top-notch OLED display (if you’re willing to splurge). The reason why the XPS 13 Plus doesn’t earn a higher rating is because of its short battery life (though you can expect more endurance from a non-OLED model) and its capacitive function row, which looks and feels a bit chintzy for a $1,200 laptop. And some may be turned off by the dearth of ports and how warm the bottom can get. In this price range I prefer the MacBook Air M2 for its much longer battery life, more ports and less fussy touchpad. But overall the XPS 13 Plus is a good option if you prefer Windows. I want to like the XPS 13 Plus. It has wonderfully thin bezels, a true edge-to-edge keyboard, and a 14-core processor that can, under optimal conditions, post impressive results. But ultimately, Dell made an achingly attractive laptop with a middling keyboard, annoying touchpad, and too few ports. The 14-core processor overwhelms the cooling system, leading to excessive exterior temperatures. Dell’s outgoing Dell XPS 13 9310 was a better laptop. It had a better keyboard and touchpad, the same gorgeous OLED display, longer battery life, and wasn’t as hot in day-to-day use. The new XPS 13 Plus is superior only in performance—but you’ll need an ice pack to make the most of it.

Dell's new XPS 13 Plus is a well-equipped, powerful 13-inch laptop that will satisfy a number of productivity and content creation use cases and a wide swath of mainstream laptop users. It has a great looking, modern design and impeccable build quality, along with top shelf materials and components, like its killer 3.5K OLED display option in our test system. However, the combination of Intel's powerful but power-hungry and warm-running Alder Lake 12th Gen Core i7-1280P 14-core chip, seem to be a bit too much for Dell's thermal solution to handle in this wafer-thin laptop design. Though noise output from the machine was very tame and actually best-of-breed in the 2.5 - 3 lb laptop category, the bottom of the machine can get uncomfortably warm at its Ultra Performance power and thermal settings. Battery life left something to be desired as well. In addition, with only two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports available on this machine, some users may find this laptop's IO expansion options to be too limited. We really wish Dell had not removed the microSD card reader as well.

Are you ready for the future? Dell certainly is, and for them, the future is the XPS 13 Plus. Although the laptop sports an incredibly minimalistic and polarizing design, it doesn’t skimp in the power department — thanks to its Core i7 processor. The 4K OLED display is a vision of loveliness and the keyboard is comfortable, which just serves to sweeten the pot. However, as beautiful as the display is, it’s also a drain on the battery life. And then there’s that polarizing design. Some, like myself, will be drawn to the ultra-minimalistic aesthetic while others will take issue with the invisible touchpad and absent headset jack. Those looking for a more traditional take on the laptop should check out the $1,549 Acer Swift 5. If you’re team Apple, the $1,899 MacBook Air M2 is the way to go. But if you’re looking for a piece of the future right now, then the $1,910 ($1,273 starting) Dell XPS 13 Plus is for you.

I haven’t reviewed the regular XPS 13 yet, but my sense is that Dell intends for that to remain most people’s option and for the Plus to be the “power user” laptop. So, should you buy the XPS 13 Plus? I'd say yes if you're looking for something that looks out of the ordinary but is also very well constructed. The XPS 13 Plus has the look and feel of a premium ultraportable, but its merely average performance and battery life prevent a stronger recommendation. I also want the haptic touchpad to be more dependable. I liked the look and feel of HP's premium Dragonfly Pro, and the more conventional HP Pavilion Plus 14 offers a well-rounded package and a slightly larger OLED panel. There's also the Asus Zenbook S 13, an even more portable OLED ultraportable with a long runtime.

It should be applauded for standing out from the crowd while still getting some basics, like an excellent keyboard and trackpad experience, correct. The 3.5K OLED display is wondrous too. But, the proof is in the pudding, and value-for-money performance is fundamental. The Dell XPS 13 Plus just doesn’t keep up. The LG Gram SuperSlim and Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 both outstrip this device in terms of speed, despite the latter offering a lower-powered chip. Battery life is extremely disappointing too, falling well foul of high-end modern standards. The Dell XPS 13 is someone’s perfect laptop. I love the design, the battery life, and the performance. But the display and keyboard are tough for me to get over. Sure, my eyes could adjust to the low-color, but my hands won’t get used to cramping up from using that keyboard. If you’re looking for a light laptop that’s still within that 13-inch range, check out the MacBook Air 13-inch. It’s everything you need except wider and deeper, offering you more space to type. But overall, if you’re comfortable with a tighter space and a duller display, the Dell XPS 13 provides a long list of positives to consider.

70% Dell XPS 13 (9345) review: Is this Copilot+ variant a winner?

The switch to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite was supposed to provide a serious uptick in performance and efficiency over Intel’s Meteor Lake chipset. Surprisingly, while the performance is certainly there, battery life remained closer than I would have imagined. It’s fair to say that you won’t get better battery life than the Intel version of the XPS 13, and the MacBook Air M3 remains pretty far ahead. At the same time, the XPS 13 9345 ran a lot cooler, which is a major benefit. That alone is enough to warrant serious consideration. Then again, there will always be some degree of some uncertainty over compatibility with Windows on Arm, and it does cost an extra $150. I think that’s worth the upgrade, but it may not be a straightforward choice. Either way, I can say that if you want a small, light, and fast laptop, the XPS 13 (9345) is a solid choice.

Niektóre mniej wymagające nowsze gry mogą działać dobrze na niskich

ustawieniach. Karty te są oczywiście odpowiednie do aplikacji

biurowych i odtwarzania filmów.

Intel HD Graphics 615: -

Karty z tej kategorii są w stanie pociągnąć płynnie najnowsze gry, ale

nie ze wszystkimi opcjami i nie w wysokiej rozdzielczości. Szczególnie

wymagające gry chodzą tylko na minimalnych ustawieniach, w wyniku

czego często mocno cierpi jakość grafiki. Układy z tej klasy powinny

zainteresować osoby rzadko grające w gry.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:

Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: Zintegrowana karta graficzna, w którą wyposażono kilka procesorów Snapdragon X Elite i X Plus. Adreno nie obsługuje monitorów SUHD 4320p, a jeśli chodzi o wydajność, nie jest dużo szybszy niż starzejący się iGPU Intel Iris Xe 96 EU.
